Beste Selen Arıkan is a medical doctor and expert for Artificial Intelligence in life sciences and
healthcare.
She has studied medicine at the Akdeniz University in Antalya from 2013 to 2020.
In parallel, Beste started to study and work on Artificial Intelligence in the life sciences and healthcare
sector from 2019 to 2021.
For the Switzerland-based international AI Business School she worked as
• Researcher for AI in Healthcare – 2019-2020
• Lead Manager for the production of the worldwide unique digital course “Digitalization and
AI in Life Sciences & Healthcare” – 2020
• Head of the Center of Competence for “AI in Life Sciences & Healthcare” – since October 2020
In addition to that, Beste was actively involved in the build-up of a global AI community for life sciences,
healthcare and medicine at the Global AI Hub, another Swiss-based international company which
orchestrates one of the largest global communities for AI experts and talents around the world.
